The Wastelands

The Wastelands was produced by John at COFA in 1990/91. It is an ode to T.S. Eliot, shot in black and white 16mm. It tells the story of two lonely people reflecting on lost love.

The Kiss (short film)

A man reflecting on his father’s life, plans his own funeral. This is John’s HSC film, selected for Art Express and won ATOM, student film festival for best film in 1988.

The Watchers (short film)

This degraded video print was originally shot on 16mm film. This print is from analogue video. Am going to remaster this from the original neg. It was my graduating film film from College of Fine Art (UNSW) in 1992.

Death by Elocution (re-mastered)

A homage to “The Enchanter” by Vladimir Nabokov. The story follows the obsession of a 16 year old girl, Katrine. The short film was shot in 1990 on sepia-tone (initially on black and white film).

Cries from Beyond (short film)

John and I made this film together. This is an updated version of the 16mm print made in 1993. The film is set in a sanatorium, following the lives of its inmates, desperately seeking a normal life.
